Ben Fletcher – Manager

Ben joined the hanrahans’ team in April 2015. He has a wide range of experiences in tax, accounting, business advisory, financial reporting, SMSF administration and technology adopting.  Prior to joining us, Ben had over 8 years’ experience with 2 Chartered Accounting firms and worked with many small-medium business clients to assist them with proactively managing their tax and business requirements.

Ben brings a passion for continuous improvement, for assisting to do things smarter and to get improved outcomes.  He enjoys a collaborative team approach with colleagues and clients to drive process improvements in search for better client outcomes.  He also works closely with clients to identify their individual priorities and needs and assists them to reach their goals.  He is proud of his achievements in streamlining client business processes by implementing new technology such as cloud accounting.

After joining hanrahans Ben has already taken on a number of projects aiming to better leverage technology to improve the efficiency and to open up new opportunities for our firm and clients. 

Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2005.  He commenced his accounting career in January 2006 and graduated from the Chartered Accountants Program in 2008, earning him a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.  In 2009 Ben became a Chartered Accountant, joining the privileged peak accounting body. 

Ben loves to travel to new places and enjoys many sports including AFL, basketball, cricket and golf.
